August 5 - Back Home in California
We're
home.
The remainder of the drive was without incident. Beautiful skies and
sunset through Albuquerque with interesting terrain. We didn't think
it was as pretty in Arizona through the northern part of the state and
Flagstaff. Joan left a few dollars in Laughlin but we enjoyed watching
all the crazy jet skiers on the river. We enjoyed a wonderful but
short stay with our daughter and her family in Claremont before heading up
I-5. It is nice to be home to our own bed and shower, catching up on
the household chores and playing some local golf.
